France - Hauteford to Chauvigny

We bought some of those macaroons the town is known for (yum!) then got our key to the Crypt of St Catherin, and headed back across the bridge to the Notre Dame Church. The frescos, painted in the 1100s are very well maintained and show the life of Saint Catherine of Alexandra. Photos are allowed but no flash as it would hasten their deterioration.
